CONTEXT
Celcom is one of the very few companies in Malaysia to originally obtain a cellular phone license, and it is also the oldest mobile telecommunication operator in the country. Today it is part of Axiata, one of Asia’s largest telecommunication companies.
CHALLENGE
The client had decided to redefine its retail image nationwide, moving away from cliched “regular phone shops” image into branded zones that truly carry Celcom’s identity, presence and the sense-of-place experience that its customers should encounter.
SOLUTION
The Blue Cube stores have a singular identity that aligns with the Celcom brand, and it breaks away from the typical-look of mobile phone retail kiosks. At the same time, the design is flexible enough to be deployed in size variations according to requirements of different locations across the country.
