CONTEXT
SP Setia is a successful public-listed company. Its  main business is property development with project involvements in Malaysia, United Kingdom, Australia, Singapore and China. Its products range from landed properties to high-rise condominiums and commercial centres.
CHALLENGE
The company was participating in Cityscape Dubai 2007, the world’s largest property exhibition set in the United Arab Emirates. Thinkscape was commissioned to conceptualise, design and build an outstanding exhibition stand that will not only represent the company, but also to differentiate and stand out against a sea of other world-class showcases from renowned property developers.
SOLUTION
We took on this challenge by homing-in on ideas that are meaningful and relevant on multiple fronts. The tropical rainforest made the most sense – it not only represented the lush identity of home country Malaysia to the international visitors, it also reflected the brand’s star products, which was the “Eco” range of developments. Contemporary design hinted the world-class design aesthetics of its products, while the island of tranquility nestled in the heart of its structure – where visitors can rest and connect – was a touch that mirrored the philosophy of “home” and hospitality. Thus, the result was a Rainforest Pavilion that made its presence felt.
