CONTEXT
The Five Elements Hotel is a hospitality provider setting up a hotel within Kuala Lumpur’s Chinatown area.
CHALLENGE
The client wanted to launch a hotel with a contemporarise theme based on the old Chinese philosophy of the “five elements”. At the same time, the client aimed to to stand apart from the competition in the vicinity.
SOLUTION
We proposed the hotel to differentiate itself by targeting a more discerning segment above the budget crowd, and standout from the similar hotels around Chinatown. Named E.Five, the hotel brand identity is a result of a blend between zen philosophy, dynamic Chinese characteristics and a more subtle, sleek contemporary design.
